We had an excellent meeting at Duncan and Ashley MacGregor’s Burnhead Farm near Kilsyth, Glasgow, Scotland today. The sales team from McCaskie Farms Supplies with Neil Rettie came to see what Duncan, Ashley and their regular lambing assistant Lizzie had experienced with their use of Clips for the second season.
Duncan had been an ambitious early adopter last year, and used Midi size clips on older lambs, in May. Their immediate recovery was obvious to him he explained, as it was this year on new born lambs to Lizzie who says she would never go back to rings. Duncan had used Maxi Clips Calves too – something we are very often asked – to good effect. Despite teething problems last year, so typical of brand new products, Duncan is a firm believer in Clips v Rings.
