NFUS Farm Visit – Hallrule

NFU Scotland organised a most interesting farm visit to David & Claire MacTaggart’s farm in Bonchester Bridge. We were one of only 3 presenters and received a great response to ClipFitter. We were able to stress the fact that without greater certainty we might not be able to finish the job we have started and get into an off-the-shelf state for clips or ClipFitter. We would have to continue to make to order with long lead times that farmers will need to take into account if they really want to legally tail dock or castrate after 7 days of age in Scotland next year.
